Bettina was known internationally for her exceptional skills, unsurpassed grace and elegance in riding, and her dedication and passion within the equestrian world. She was a monumental figure in the preservation of the old French Classical System of training horses and riders. Her passion was to train with the respect and honor of the horse in mind, without cruelty. Training in a way for the horses to feel safe, proud, and unrestrained by their riders. Over her career, Bettina earned reverence and admiration from peers and students alike, leaving an indelible mark of achievements in the horsemanship industry.

In accordance with Bettina's wishes, no money should be spent on flowers or funeral expenses. Instead, those who would like to honor her memory are invited to support the continuation of her philosophy by making a donation to the nonprofit organization she founded: www.apaha.us.
You may also choose to subscribe—or remain subscribed—to LYNK YOU, to help carry forward her knowledge and philosophy. Whether for your own learning or to pass it on to others if you are a riding instructor or coach, you will be contributing to the respectful education of horses mindful of their individuality, their physicality, and their mental well-being.
